FREEDOM, RHYTHM & SOUND

Soul Jazz Records in London has released “Freedom, Rhythm & Sound” as both a book and double LP. The book, edited by Gilles Peterson & Stuart Baker, features 200 pages of album sleeve artwork from jazz artists at the forefront of the civil rights movement from 1965-1982. The corresponding album features 23 tracks including Archie Shepp, Sun Ra & The Art Ensemble of Chicago.
