I’ve written about Kelly Meador & Daniel Elwing before, the Portland based duo go under the name Impactist. Music, film, motion graphics, short stories, photos, print….they do it all. They’ve just released a short titled “Hello Neighbor”, which features music from their Hello Neighbor EP. Since the EP is a download only and would probably be listened to on an iPod (sorry Zune users), the team animated the short using a complimentary method: each frame was drawn by hand on an iPod touch. The finished frames were then brought into After Effects and exported as the final Quicktime.

You can view more of their work here.

You can buy the Hello Neighbor EP from iTunes here.
